Members of the Bendigo Bank Spirit WNBL team are giving their time this Christmas to volunteer as part of the OTIS Foundation’s and Myer Bendigo’s gift wrapping service.

As part of Myer Bendigo commitment to support the OTIS Foundation as its charity of choice this year, proceeds from the gift wrapping service offered at Myer will be provided to the charity.

Bendigo Bank Spirit players Gabe Richards and Kelsey Griffin joined volunteer Eliza DeAraugo from Bendigo Toyota to take on the first gift wrapping shift at Myer this morning.

General Manager of the OTIS Foundation, Rachel Mason, said that the OTIS team was ‘wrapped’ to be participating in the joy of Christmas at Myer Bendigo this year, “Myer has been a great supporter of OTIS over recent times and we are glad to bring in our Community Partners from the Bendigo Bank Spirit to assist. With so many gift wrapping shifts to fill, we have also brought in the experts at Bendigo Volunteer Resource Centre to help. We still have quite a few shifts to fill, so I encourage anyone that can offer a hand to contact the OTIS office directly.” Mrs Mason said.

Gifts purchased at Myer as well as those purchased elsewhere can be wrapped as part of the gift wrapping station located on the ground floor of Myer between ladies shows and Miss Shop. Gift wrapping will be available each day in the lead up to Christmas for a small donation.

Anyone interested in volunteering their time to assist with the gift wrapping service should contact the OTIS Foundation on (03) 5441 1185 or email
