The Dandenong Basketball Association is pleased to announce that Brett Phillips will be joining the Dandenong Jayco Rangers in the newly created role of Media and Communications consultant.
Jayco Rangers CEO Graeme Allen says Phillips will bring great support to DBA…”We are excited to have Brett join our team, Brett’s extensive media experience will provide professional media and comms support to our Jayco Rangers WNBL team as well as assisting the entire Dandenong Basketball Association” said Allen.
As well as managing the media for the Jayco Rangers, Allen says Phillips will also be the face of Rangers TV…..”A key initiative that Brett will manage will be Rangers TV which will not only feature all activities managed by DBA, but will also deliver live streamed WNBL home games that will feature commentary from Brett and other former stars of the WNBL”
Phillips is looking forward to the challenges ahead…“I have been fortunate to do something I love for twenty plus years, having one of the best seats in the house commentating live sport. I have always been interested to combine a role like this, allowing me to step onto the other side. I am excited to join the DBA and the Jayco Rangers and bring my experience to help shape the media plan of such a big sporting organisation. This will commence with the upcoming WNBL season and spread through the whole DBA over the next 12 months”
Phillips will commence on September 5.
