Rosie Fadljevic Signing

DBA is very excited to announce that home-grown Dandenong star Rosie Fadljevic will be returning to the Jayco Rangers for the WNBL 16/17 season.

Having spent the past few seasons with Canberra and winning a championship with Townsville, the Junior Rangers-turned WNBL star will now join what looks to be a stacked Jayco Rangers roster.

Rosie told Dandenong Basketball she can’t wait to return to the Dandenong courts, stating that she’s excited to be able to bring a defensive spark to the already great group.

“I’m super excited to be back at Dandenong, it’s good to be home”, said Rosie. “I never thought I’d leave the club, in saying that I’m grateful for all that I achieved in that time (in Townsville & Canberra). I’m excited to be coming back to this great group and becoming a strong contributor in whatever role Larissa and the other coaches give me.”

Having won a championship with Townsville in 2015, Rosie knows the amount of dedication it takes to win a WNBL title, something Elite Teams Administration Manager Trish Fallon loved about the young star.

“We welcome Rosie back to Dandenong, which now completes our roster for the 2016/17 WNBL Season”, said Fallon. “Rosie brings Championship experience, a strong defensive presence and rebounding strength to the Rangers, but more importantly fits perfectly into the team culture”.

Known for her defensive prowess and hustle, Rosie will add extra depth at the forward spot alongside Sara Blicavs and Ally Malott, something we know will make Rangers coach Larissa Anderson breathe easier.

Anderson told Dandenong Basketball that she’s very happy to have Rosie back on board with the Rangers, bringing another Junior Ranger back home.

“It is fantastic to have Rosie back at Dandenong”, said Anderson. “Another Ranger junior on board and having coached her previously at SEABL level, I know she brings a strong work ethic and defensive mindset to the team and adds further depth in our forward positions alongside Sara and Ally”.

Rosie and the Jayco Rangers will return to the courts of Dandenong for our home opener against Perth Lynx on Sunday October 16th. Are you ready to join us on our journey to the WNBL Finals Rangers fans?
