Big Month Ahead For Boomers

Three big home games over the coming month are set to entertain Boomers fans, starting with a clash against Adelaide in Geelong at The Arena on Saturday January 7.

The Boomers then return to the State Basketball Centre on Sunday January 22 to play Perth, followed by the league’s biggest blockbuster of the season – the Australia Day Eve showdown against Dandenong.

With a trip to Townsville on New Year’s Eve and a couple of in-state away games against Dandenong (January 14) and Bendigo (January 28), it all adds up to a busy stretch for Melbourne’s WNBL team.

A capacity crowd is expected at Geelong when the Boomers clash with the Lightning for the third time this season, the previous two meeting resulting in wins for Coach Guy Molloy and his team.

Tickets are now on sale for the Geelong game and available HERE.

Boomers fans will then get their Superheroes & Villains costumes on for a January 22 clash with Perth, before more than 3,000 fans are expected to support the second instalment of the Australia Day Eve Blockbuster against Dandenong – the game being billed as AusDayEve2.
