The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are pleased to announce a two-year agreement with Blackchrome Sportswear.
Joining Melbourne’s WNBL club as its Official Compression Wear Partner, the agreement will see all Boomers players wearing Blackchrome’s high quality garments at training and in games.
Blackchrome Sportswear’s Managing Director Mark Bassett says he and his team are thrilled to become part of the Boomers family.
“We are proud to be furthering our commitment to basketball and to women’s sport in Australia. We are looking forward to seeing the Boomers players representing Blackchrome in our fantastic customised compression wear.”
The agreement is the first of its kind for the Boomers and further highlights the strong moves the club continues to make in it commercial division.
“We’re really excited by this partnership, it’s an opportunity to bring a recognised compression wear supplier into the Boomers family,” said Boomers GM Justin Nelson, adding, “Blackchrome has been servicing athletes and the general public for fifteen years, they deliver quality products, value communication and building strong relationships.
“We have no doubt they will enjoy being with us as a valued partner of Melbourne’s wider basketball community, as we will value being a part of their growing stable of high profile partners.”
“Bringing Blackchrome on board highlights another successful Australian company that proudly supports basketball at all levels and we’re really happy to have them with us, and to also bring them into the WNBL for the first time,” added Nelson.
