Tickets sales to all Deakin Melbourne Boomers games being played at the State Basketball Centre this season have gone on sale, with the club informing supporters to book early, especially for blockbuster games on Melbourne Cup Eve and Australia Day Eve.
Seating this season includes a new Baseline VIP section, proudly sponsored by Appleby Estate Agents and featuring 26 seats that will get fans closer to the action than ever before. The Sideline VIP section, proudly sponsored by Knox Groove Train, will this season feature 50 seats after its overwhelming popularity last season.
“We’ve maintained our online ticket prices this season, so we’re encouraging everyone to book online early to ensure they get the best seats,” said GM Justin Nelson, adding, “Plus the VIP seats will again be only $30 for adults and $15 for children, and believe me they are very close to the action.
“The players often comment about how they recognise faces and hear the fans in the VIP seats. I know a few of the players have even landed in the seats before when diving for the ball.”
The Boomers have also added a VIP entrance to the stadium this season for anyone who has pre-purchased tickets online, along with all members, providing them with quick entry to the game.
“We want to make sure we deliver a great experience for all of our supporters, especially our members. We value our fans, they’re our family and those who pre-purchase tickets will have quick access via a VIP entry on game days.”
The only home game yet to go on sale is the January 7 encounter against Adelaide at Geelong Arena. Ticketing for the Boomers In Geelong game are expected to go on sale shortly.
An exciting part of all Boomers games this season will again be a number of themes, with the club encouraging everyone to join in the fun.
“The fans really got behind a number of the themes we did last season, so we want to see that again. For me the Purple Power, Dad’s & Daughter’s and Superheroes & Villains games will be a lot of fun,” said Nelson.
