Deakin Melbourne Boomers forward Olivia Thompson will celebrate her 150th WNBL game this Sunday when she lines up against her former club Townsville Fire in a must-win game for both teams.
Stepping out during her third season in Melbourne, the South Australian native is a crowd favourite and has the current longest streak of consecutive games played for the Boomers from this year’s squad.
Averaging 6pts and 6rbs per game this season, Thompson is working hard to recapture her 2014/15 season with the Boomers when she was delivering closer to 10pts per game.
An AIS scholarship holder, Thompson has represented Australia at a junior level and at just 23yrs of age has reached a major milestone in the WNBL.
Join in the celebrations, get along and see Liv Thompson in action this Sunday at the State Basketball Centre (3pm tip-off).
