Klara Wischer played a double-header for Joondalup Wolves over the weekend putting up impressive numbers in both games.

Wischer’s double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds was not enough to secure a win for the Wolves as they were narrowly defeated by the Willeton Tigers 63-60.

In the second game of the Wolves double-header, Wischer helped her team secure a 72-63 victory over academy player Ashley Grant’s Lakeside Lightning.

Wischer decorated the stat sheet with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. Ashley Grant was also impressive with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists a steal and a block.

A host of Lynx players were in action for the Kalamunda Eastern Suns double-header over the weekend.

In their first game versus Mandurah Magic, the Suns were defeated 92-73.

Carley Mijovic was a stand out for the Suns, adding 24 points, 2 rebounds an assist and a steal. Stacey Barr contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Academy player Emma Klasztorny recorded a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds to help her Mandurah Magic secure the win.

Kalamunda’s second clash of their double-header was one to remember, they smashed the South West Slammers 105-68.

Carley Mijovic absolutley dominated the game once again, with 30 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks.

Stacey Barr put in a solid performance with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.

Sami Whitcomb’s Rockingham Flames defeated academy player Ashley Grant’s Lakeside Lightning 58-76.

Whitcomb scored and impressive 21 points while grabbing 8 boards. Grant recorded 6 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals.
