After 16 rounds of SBL basketball, the Joondalup Wolves and Rockingham Flames are tied on top of the table.

The Wolves added two to the wins column with victories over Kalamunda and East Perth.

In the win over the Suns, Klara Wischer scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

For Kalamunda, Carley Mijovic added 20 and Stacye Barr 22.

In the Wolves second game of the weekend they smashed East Perth by 36 on Wischer’s 20 points.

Rockingham kept up with Joondalup with their win over Cockburn.

2016 Lynx MVP Sami Whitcomb added 23 to go with five steals.

Meanwhile Toni Edmondson’s Perry Lakes Hawks split the results of their double-header, with the Lynx player scoring 17 and 21 points.

In the WNBA, new Perth Lynx signing Ruth Hamblin’s Dallas Wings sit third in the Western Conference.
