The Perth Lynx conclude their five-game home stand this Saturday 7 January, when they host the Bendigo Spirit at the Bendat Basketball Centre.

Having alternated wins and losses for the past eight games, the Lynx will be looking to close their home stand with an important victory against the second place Spirit.

Sami Whitcomb enjoyed a career performance last time these teams met, knocking down six threes on her way to 39 points, but it was Bendigo who claimed the victory to give the visitors a 1-0 edge in the season series.

The Lynx managed just four bench points that evening, with a much more even spread of contributors needed to take down a Spirit team in fine form.

Toni Edmondson will play her 200th WNBL game on Saturday, looking to continue her fine scoring form at the Bendat Basketball Centre.

Scoring an average of 80.4 points per game, the Lynx will need to push the pace and score easy buckets against a stingy Bendigo defence, who are allowing a league best 66.0 points per game this season.

Sitting at 9-6 on the season, and with the 9-7 Townsville Fire hot on their heels, the Lynx will be looking for a crucial win to remain in the top four, while also striving to avoid dropping consecutive home games for the first time under head coach Andy Stewart.

The Perth Lynx host the Bendigo Spirit on Saturday 7 January at the Bendat Basketball Centre.

Tip-off is set for 7pm, with tickets available here.
