Brydens Sydney Uni Flames appoint Katrina Hibbert as Head Coach
The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames are proud to announce that Katrina Hibbert will lead the team as Head Coach for the next two WNBL seasons.
With the departure of Cheryl Chambers, Hibbert will take over the reins at the club, bringing with her a 12-year professional playing career and 8 years of coaching at elite senior levels.
“Having grown up watching the legends of Sydney WNBL and later competing against them as a player and assistant coach, I feel excited and privileged. The professionalism and pride on which this club is built, coupled with the fantastic support and facilities of the university and calibre of people make it a fantastic place to be a part of,” said Hibbert.
Hibbert’s appointment is timely and exciting for both players and fans alike as the Flames begin building a playing roster that is ready to hit the ground running for round one of the 2019/20 WNBL season.
