The Sydney Uni Sparks will get the chance to play in front of their home crowd, this Saturday night, in their first SEABL game at Brydens Stadium.

The Sparks got off to a great start in their debut game, last Saturday, beating the Albury Wodonga Bandits 71-55 in Albury. Each player got a good taste of the action in Round 1, with all 10 girls playing double figure minutes. However, Sarah Graham was the standout and led the young Sparks with 21 points.

Coach Karen Dalton said “It was good to get our first win in Round 1 and we are looking forward to playing on our home court this weekend.”

“We have a lot of things to work on, and we are excited to get back to training this week.”

The Spectres will be looking to rebound from their 92-47 Round 1 defeat at the hands of BA COE. After another week of training, the Nunawading imports will have settled in a bit more and the team will be looking for redemption.

Join the Sparks as they look to make the most of their home court advantage.
