Townsville Fire

Game Night

The JCU Townsville Fire are the two-time reigning WNBL champions.

With the largest membership and fan base in the WNBL, the Fire offer an exciting game day experience including interaction through their giant LED TV screens.

Grandstand tickets are just $19.50 for adults, $12.50 for concession holders and $11 for children.

Tickets to the JCU Townsville Fire’s home games can be purchased through The Ticket Shop.

Fire fans can purchase their tickets through either of The Ticket Shop’s two locations – The Civic Theatre, South Townsville or the Riverway Arts Centre – by phoning (07) 4727 9797 in normal business hours or online.

Tickets are also available at the door from 90 minutes before each game at Townsville Stadium.

Mike Carney Toyota Carpool Karaoke

JCU Townsville Fire championship heroes Darcee Garbin and Rachael McCully are behind the wheel – and the mic – thanks to Mike Carney Toyota.

At each home game, a new film clip is shown at Townsville Stadium including some special guest stars.

As singers they make very good basketball players.

CastleTown Shot Clock Challenge

The CastleTown Shot Clock Challenge is staged at every home game at Townsville Stadium.

Each week, a lucky member from the crowd gets to go up against the Fire player to register more free throws than their opponent.

To make things fair, we’ve placed some obstacles for the Fire stars including some well-positioned nerf guns.

Question time with Quest Townsville on Eyre

How well do you know the JCU Townsville Fire?

Each week, we ask our Fire stars, who reside at Quest Townsville on Eyre, a raft of questions to get you behind-the scenes like never before.

Check out all the action from the pool-side setting!

Bradfast Fire Dancers

The Bradfast Fire Dancers are the WNBL’s favourite cheerleading squad.

Each game, the Bradfast Fire Dancers, who are trained at Townsville Dance and Cheerleading, delight the crowd with their American-style routines.

Watch them reach the highest of highs!
