Enhancing the fan experience

Selfie Station

The JCU Townsville Fire will enhance their game day experience on Sunday with a raft of initiatives geared towards supporting their members and fans.

With the Fire successfully rolling out the McDonald’s Selfie Station in round one, a number of new initiates will be implemented ahead of today’s round two fixture against the University of Canberra Capitals including the XEROX Sign Making Station and the First Things First Massage Station.

On top of this, the Fire will once again be giving fans the opportunity to win prize packs after placing random winners’ tickets on seats, while the Quest Best Seats activation returns but with a twist.

In addition to the courtside seating this year, fans have the opportunity to receive accommodation at Quest in Townsville, transfers, food and drinks, tickets to the game and the best seats in the house.

The Fire’s at-match experience will be further improved during the second half of the season following the installation of two giant LED TV screens – similar to those used during the 2014/15 finals – which club General Manager Richard Goodbody describes as a game changer.

“The Fire has consistently made game day decisions with our members and fans in mind,” Goodbody said.

“We know we boast a world-class product on the floor and we want our at-match experience to be just as entertaining.

“The First Things First Massage Station will be ideal for adults wanting to relax ahead of a big game, while the XEROX Sign Making Station allows our younger fans to get in the spirit of the game in a fun way.

“The Quest Best Seats will be a sought after opportunity, while Amusements Plus continue to support our game day experience by providing some of the best rides and activities in North Queensland.”

The Fire and the Capitals tip-off at 1pm at Townsville RSL Stadium.
