Jasmin Fejo recognised at NBL1 Central Awards

Jasmin Fejo was recognised at the NBL1 Central Awards over the weekend, celebrated for her defensive play, leadership, impact and consistency across the season.
Voted on by NBL1 Central coaches and captains #15 with the Woodville Warriors, Fejo picked up three awards including Women’s All Star 5, Defensive Player of the Year and Coaches’ MVP.
Fejo said: I feel very honoured and I’m just so grateful that my style of game is being recognised. The league is pretty tough and there’s a lot of solid athletes that I’m playing against every weekend so I’m very honoured.”
Reflecting on the season, Fejo said: “My favourite moment was Erin Phillips doing multiple 4-point plays. The 4-point play last Saturday in the elimination final against North was electric.”
Looking ahead to the 2025/26 WNBL season Fejo said: “I’m really excited to bring the energy and just be back in the league.”
Earlier this year, Fejo was also named in the Indigenous Basketball Australia (IBA) Women’s All Stars game, further adding to the rising star’s accolades.
From disrupting offensive plays to channelling her effort and energy, Jasmin Fejo is one to watch as they enter finals and in the lead up to the WNBL 2025/26 season with the Adelaide Lightning.
