Adelaide Lightning sign Dallas Loughridge

June 16, 2025 | WNBL news

Adelaide Lightning has secured another major signing for the Free Agency period with 21-year-old star Dallas Loughridge joining the club for WNBL 2025/26.

Coming off an outstanding campaign with the Southside Flyers, where she averaged 11.4 points, 2.1 assists and 1.5 rebounds for the injury-riddled side, the emerging scorer will take on a new role for Kerryn Mitchell’s new-look Lightning.

“She is such an exciting young prospect and point guard, she’s definitely ready to run her own team,” Mitchell said.

“She’s shifty with the ball and finishes around the hoop incredibly well, not to mention a knockdown shooter while being deadly from the three. As an assistant at Southside, I saw her work ethic and hunger for success first-hand, I cannot wait to get started with her.”

Seeking a larger role, Loughridge is currently honing her elite scoring punch in the NBL1 South for the Dandenong Rangers, averaging a career-high of 20.2 points per game, shooting 37.8 percent from outside and an outstanding 92.6 percent from the charity stripe.
