The 2025 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup starts this weekend, with the Australian Seven Consulting Opals set to take on the region from July 13-20 in China.

After a bronze medal finish in the 2023 tournament, the Opals hope to reach the podium once again with a new group.

With 10 of the 12 players on the Opals squad contracted for WNBL26, the team bound for China features some of the league’s top-tier talent outside the WNBA – including Sara Blicavs, Miela Sowah, Ally Wilson and Cayla George proudly donning the green and gold once again.
