Lynx lock in Perth HPC for all 2025-26 home games

Perth Lynx is thrilled to confirm that all home games for the upcoming 2025-26 Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) season will be played at the Perth High Performance Centre (HPC), marking a bold new chapter for the club and the competition.
Following the success of last season’s trial – where three home games were hosted at the Perth HPC to overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans and players alike – the club has committed to making the venue its full-time home for the season ahead.
Star forward, Anneli Maley, who recently re-signed with the Lynx, spoke of the team’s excitement.
“Playing at the HPC last season was a game-changer. The energy, the crowd, the game presentation – it really felt like home, so I’m pumped that we’re going to be there full-time this season.”
On the court, the Lynx are building an exciting roster for the 2025-26 season, with several key players from last year’s campaign returning.
Head coach, Ryan Petrik, said with recent announcements, he was buoyed about the season ahead.
“We’re building a roster that will yet again be fast up and down the court, and fun to watch. With the core group returning and some exciting additions to come, we’re confident we’ll deliver a brand of basketball that our fans will love – and the Perth HPC will be the perfect stage for it.”
The club is working closely with VenuesWest, Basketball WA and the WNBL to launch the season in style with a blockbuster opening round clash.
“This is a hugely exciting new era for the WNBL and the Perth Lynx,” said VenuesWest CEO, David Etherton. “The atmosphere at Perth HPC last season was electric and the feedback from fans and players alike was fantastic, so we’re really excited that the Lynx have chosen to take this next step and create a true home-court advantage in one of the country’s premier basketball venues.”
