Flames to host 11 games during exciting WNBL26 season

The Flames are excited to reveal that they’ll host 11 blockbusters in Sydney, during the fast-approaching WNBL26 season.
Those 11 games, eight at Quaycentre and three at Qudos Bank Arena, are part of the bumper 23-game schedule that Guy Molloy’s side will face during the 2025-26 campaign – with the extra coming against Geelong at Perth’s HoopsFest in January.
The first of those home will occur in round two when Guy Molloy’s side hosts Southside on Friday, October 24.
This will be followed by home games against Canberra (November 11), Geelong (November 26), Bendigo (November 28), Adelaide (December 14), Townsville (December 20), Southside (December 30), Bendigo (January 5), Canberra (January 10), Perth (January 25 – Pink Hoops) and Geelong (February 2).

As highlighted by the above, the Flames will play plenty of home fixtures in Sydney during the summer school holidays – with the Hoops Capital side playing six games in the harbour city during that period.
Hoops Capital executive director Matthew Denholm is thrilled to bring more home games to Flames fans during WNBL26, during such an amazing 2024-25 campaign, resulting in the club’s drought-breaking finals run.

“The next iteration of women’s professional basketball is tipping off this year and our Sydney Flames cannot wait to get the season started,” Denholm said.
“We are aiming to have one of our biggest stand-alone crowds in recent times with our first Quaycentre game of the year against the Southside Flyers on October 24.
“It’s shaping up as a massive year and we need our fans behind our team, cheering them on bringing the heat all year long – as there is no better way to experience the game than being there live in person.”
Complementing this home games will be away fixture against Geelong (October 18), Perth (October 26), Bendigo (November 2), Adelaide (November 11), Canberra (November 15), Southside (October 22), Townsville (December 6 and 23), Adelaide (January 13) and Perth (February 2).
