Garlepp short-listed for NBL1 East Coach of the Year

The incredible week for Sydney Flames’ Renae Garlepp shows no signs of slowing down.
After guiding her Australian Gems side to the FIBA under 19s World Cup silver medal in Czechia and being named the Coach of the Tournament, Garlepp has also been short-listed for NBL1 East’s Women’s Coach of the Year, after a strong season with her Norths Bears.

In the running alongside Flame #149 Garlepp are Manly’s Nathan Kirwan, Albury’s Sam McDonald, Bankstown’s Lauren Curtin and Newcastle’s Kristy Bultitude.

This nomination follows Carla Pitman and Zoey Miller being short-listed for the Young Player of the Year earlier this week.
The winner will be announced the week prior to the competition’s grand final on Saturday, August 16.
