Now that the squad is locked in, Garlepp is excited to work with the players and take the program to new heights in its second season.

“The trials were awesome, being a high standard, super competitive, and generating a real buzz on the court,” said Garlepp, whose coaching staff includes Macs Monk (Basketball NSW), Shac Shorer (Norths), Pat Williamson (Sutherland), Danielle D’Morias (Hills) and Cindy Bonham (Illawarra).

“The players came in hungry to learn, connect with new teammates, and just throw themselves into it.

“Now that the squad is locked in, I’m honestly so excited.

“The energy from both players and coaches has been unreal.

“There’s so much talent in NSW, and it’s fun to be part of something that’s helping build and push that forward.”
