Timms inducted to Mercury’s Ring of Honour
Sydney Flame #65 Michele Timms was officially inducted into the Phoenix Mercury Ring of Honour on Saturday, May 18.
Timms, who was earlier this year also inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame, was one of five individuals recognised by the WNBA club, alongside fellow Australian Penny Taylor, Jennifer Gillom, Bridget Pettis and Cheryl Miller.

Following the induction, which was held at half-time of the Mercury’s clash with Atlanta at the Footprint Centre, Timms took to Twitter and said:
“Can’t thank Mat Ishbia and the Mercury organisation enough for this incredible honour, forever hanging from the rafters of the Footprint Centre. Fantastic celebrations capped off with a season-opening thrilling win. All class”
